Swappler is a shopping cart application aimed at the fashion industry. We did a redesign of the front end of the website to give it a more cohesive brand. We also completely updated the sign up and shopping cart check out process. We are currently working on designing the back end of the shopping cart to increase usability and to bring it inline with the up-coming iPhone application!
This is one of the first projects we have worked on after returning to work with Portable Content. I have been employed as a Interface Designer and currently work as the lead designer at Portable Content.

Note: The design has changed slightly from when I was at ROI. The panels behind the headings at the top were initially grey.
Local Guru was a website created for monetising a multitude of sites already owned by ROI. It was a modularised, customised wordpress set up that could be rolled out on to many different domains at a fairly cheap cost. We designed the website from start to finish as well as the business model and the way the site would function.
We worked in conjunction with a developer at ROI who developed the more difficult Wordpress plugins and adaptations we required.

Aromacup was a basic 5 page website with contact page and custom php products page. We really enjoyed doing this design, check out the hot cup of delicious coffee on the products page! We also designed the logo.
It was however our first hardcore SEO job. It will be an ongoing project for ROI to get it to the top of google with only 5 pages.

Score Debt collection was an interesting project that we got to try a lot of new techniques out on. Namely the scrolling navigation and the bookmark button. It was our first time since Mandalay building a site in Joomla and it reaffirmed our dislike for the CMS. Other than that we were happy with the design (the client wanted to change the text colour of the join button to green *frown*, initially white)

This job was a blog made for Hampering Around for their Impressivegifts.com.au url. We really enjoyed coming up with a funky looking design for them and we were particularly proud of the footer. There is some Jquery functionality on the search box but other than that it is just a standard wordpress build.

Committee of Melbourne was a blueprint CMS website that we developed the CSS for and various jquery functions, namely the random header and the drop down menus. It was a pretty straight forward site and was a lot of fun to develop for!

42x42 is a film festival that was started by 42below vodka. We were employed to do the back end design, CSS and html markup. Later on in the project we were asked to do the front end flash alternate content for when flash or javascript are turned off. We ended up working from some great designs. We also had to design a few of the pages ourselves, namely the user generated content page and the my video section. The clean code that we submitted to the client was doctored and changed due to problems in the server side scripting, due to this it is not as we intended.

MAAP is a multimedia arts community website that focuses on talent from the Asia Pacific region. This site was rather tricky to build due to the varying columns on different pages and it was quite a challenge to get it working perfectly in all browsers. The various form elements were. particularly challenging. While the design is lacking, developing MAAP was a good experience and we learnt a lot from this particular project.

Oceaneight.com is a site that we developed using CSS and xhtml. We used a CMS that we had never used before called Blueprint and this was our first adventure into the world of Rails. The designer from Portable Content worked up a great design and it was a true pleasure to do the CSS and CMS implementation for this site.

The Young Australian Skeptics website was our first big job. The site consists of a forum, chat room, media section that includes a gallery and an article uploader. It is based on the wordpress 2.6 blogging application. This gave us a great way to edit content and to add new pages easily, it also allowed for easy intergration of the forum into wordpress so that only one login account was needed to access the blog and the forum!
